Leaving Costa Rei behind and heading north, you reach the turn-off for “Colostrai” almost seven kilometres before you get to the town of Muravera. The road access to this area already reveals the natural features that surround this spot.
On the left, an old tower rises above a dry salt lake pointing the way to the sea. Anyone who follows its hint will discover a lagoon frequented by flamingos and herons that reflects the peacefulness and beauty of this place.
The people who built the villas located beyond the strip of dunes tailored them to the natural appearance of this stretch of coast and chose designs that reject the cramped style that can be observed so often in Italy.
A small supermarket for “corner shop” purchases is conveniently located; driving into Muravera, which is quite close by, is worth it for errands of all kinds.
